Date of Experience: September 26, 2022– Lavonne D. (BBB Review)

When I signed on with this company, I was in close contact with *********************** and his son **** who assured me that they were legit and would do what the company promised. I was put at ease by ***********************, the owner along with his son. I paid my fee at that time in March of 2019. I did what they told me to do; not speak to the timeshare company and let the law firm handle all the details. I did and waited for the law firm that they used to get me out of my timeshare patiently. I was asked to give them more information which I did. Unfortunately, I received a letter by certified mail from the timeshare company that the property was going to be foreclosed on this past month of August 2022. I was only given 1 day’s notice of the foreclosure. I reached out immediately to the law firm (***************************************) and find out what I should do, but no one was available to speak with me that day or the next or the next. I left a message, day after day, no response. I also called and left numerous messages with ***********************, the owner of National Cancellation and Transfer. **** has yet to respond to my texts or calls. I was guaranteed to get my money back if they did not resolve my timeshare property. This has not happened. Today is Sept. 26, 2022, and no one at the law firm or the company will speak with me or return my calls. So not only did they not resolve getting me out of the timeshare, the timeshare went into foreclosure and I got nothing for my investment with National Cancellation and Transfer.I do not recommend this company.

As reported by the BBB, National Cancellation and Transfer is believed to be out of business. The returned mail, therefore, serves as a critical indicator that the company may no longer be operating or able to provide the services it advertises. Consequently, this development is crucial for potential clients who might consider engaging with the company for timeshare exit services. Moreover, the apparent closure of National Cancellation and Transfer highlights the dynamic nature of the timeshare exit industry, where companies can quickly change status. Thus, prospective clients should verify the current status of any company they consider for timeshare exit services, ensuring they choose a reliable and operational service provider.

━ Closing Thoughts

National Cancellation and Transfer once offered hope to timeshare owners seeking an exit from their contracts. However, recent information from the BBB suggests that the company is no longer in operation. This revelation is vital for anyone considering their services, as it indicates that the company may not be able to fulfill its promises or provide necessary support. Potential clients should exercise caution, conducting thorough research and seeking alternative options for timeshare exit services. Ensuring that a chosen company is currently operational and has a proven track record of success is essential to avoid potential pitfalls and secure a successful exit from timeshare obligations.
