National Contract Solutions, once an Atlanta, Georgia-based timeshare exit company, was established to assist timeshare owners in alleviating the financial and contractual burdens associated with their properties. Like many companies in this sector, it aimed to provide a way out for individuals seeking relief from ongoing maintenance fees and long-term commitments. However, as of 2021, this timeshare exit company is no longer operational, having filed for administrative dissolution with the State of Georgia’s Corporations Division.

━ About National Contract Solutions

National Contract Solutions entered the timeshare exit market at a time when consumer frustration with timeshare contracts was at an all-time high. With promises of helping clients legally and efficiently terminate their timeshare obligations, the company targeted owners facing high fees or dissatisfied with their timeshare experiences. The company operated under the premise of working directly with resort developers or through legal channels to facilitate exits.

━ Administrative Dissolution

In 2021, National Contract Solutions filed for administrative dissolution with the State of Georgia’s Corporations Division. Administrative dissolution typically occurs when a company fails to comply with certain state requirements, such as filing annual reports or paying necessary fees. This dissolution marked the end of the company’s operations, rendering it unable to conduct further business legally in the state. For prospective clients, this is a critical factor to consider, as the company no longer has the authority to offer services or fulfill existing contracts.

The dissolution of National Contract Solutions left many clients without a clear resolution. It is unknown how many timeshare owners were actively working with the company at the time of its closure. Those affected may have experienced delays or complete disruptions in the termination of their timeshare contracts. In the timeshare exit industry, such dissolutions raise concerns about the transparency and reliability of companies offering these specialized services. Consumers should be cautious when selecting a timeshare exit firm, ensuring it has a stable operational history and a clear reputation for client success.

━ Lessons for Consumers

The case of National Contract Solutions highlights the importance of conducting thorough research before engaging with a timeshare exit company. Administrative dissolutions, like the one filed by this company, can leave clients in precarious situations if their cases remain unresolved. Prospective clients should investigate a company’s standing with state regulators and examine any potential red flags, such as recent legal actions, complaints, or business status changes.

Date of Experience: June 8, 2021 – Anonymous (BBB Review)

We paid a fee of $5,600.00 on 6/8/2021 for this company to act on our behalf to cancel our timeshare weeks. After they cashed our check we never heard from them again. It was expected that they would not actually do specific work on our behalf until we received collection communications directly from the resort at which we own the timeshare weeks. Once those communications began in the form of an account delinquency notice dated March 21, 2022. This was followed by a collection notice from a **** collector dated May 27, 2022. I have reached out to the company via phone calls (not answered, voicemails left), faxes (copies of account and collection notices) and emails. To date the company has not responded.

━ Closing Thoughts

National Contract Solutions once provided a hopeful avenue for timeshare owners seeking to exit their contracts. However, its administrative dissolution in 2021 signals the need for caution in the industry. While the company may have offered legitimate services in its operational days, its dissolution highlights the broader challenges faced by consumers in the timeshare exit market. For those still seeking an exit from their timeshare obligations, the lesson is clear: always verify a company’s standing and track record before committing to its services.

Below is a list of National Contract Solutions‘ social media, however it is unknown whether or not any of them are still being monitored:
